The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults and Children (OCIA/OCIC)

OCIA/OCIC is a process through which men, women, and children are initiated into the Catholic Church. This is a process involving discernment and stages of conversion, which leads to sacramental initiation. It is the parish community, through its witness, worship, service, and catechesis that offers the invitation and support necessary for this initiation. The process is open to all persons seeking to join the Catholic Church or wanting to learn more about the Catholic faith.

WHEN: Classes are on Thursday evenings from 7-8 pm.  The classes begin on October 1st - April 1st.  The first meeting will be a social.  There are no commitments made until January. Classes are taught both by our Priests and Catechists.

WHO: Any person who is interested in learning more about the faith! No commitments are made until January.  Please invite anyone who might want to join our Church family. 

VOLUNTEERS: There are also numerous roles to be filled by Catholics who wish to share their love of Christ and His Church through service to others. Please contact Fr. Luke if you are interested in being a sponsor, teaching or helping with special events.
